back from sc camp. haha one word to describe my experience-memorable.
frm the very beginning, we knew tt we werent going to have it easy. when we 1st reported at 10pm, the seniors were all standing in neat rows wif solemn faces and demanding to know why we were so late. aft tt they made us unpack all our stuff to check if we brought anything less or more..had to do many pushups then for all our tardiness..at the end of it, our hands and knees were all super red and painful. tt nite, smth scary happened. arief fainted and the seniors couldnt revive him. an ambulance was later called to send him to the hospital. aft tt we were seriously freaked out. im sure the seniors were too..luckily, we received news the next day tt he was fine..
tt nite, we had survival cooking. haha it was damn fun! lol we had to use the dry twigs collected to start a fire in the sand pit and cook using the mess tins. haha our food seriously sucked. the chicken was half cooked,the beans werent cooked and the instant noodles turned out tasteless. only our campbell soup was still kinda edible..hehe aft cleaning up, we were allowed to turn in at around 430am..
on the 2nd day, we had amazing race! lol 3rd time this yr tt i played this game..this time we went toa payoh..other than going to places,we had to do many silly stuff too..i actually had to walk around wif a stocking over my hand and a pacifier in my mouth while liat beng and yonglong walked around wif stockings on their heads-_- haha i bet ppl tot we were crazy man..though tiring,i tot it was rather fun..
when we came back, we had campfire at nite..the seniors from previous batches came back too..tt was a really stressful time cos our overall ic xiu wasnt there to oversee things..she fractured her nose during amazing race..heard tt there was alota bleeding..(*to xiu: get well soon k!!! must take care..be careful not to perspire this few days..mUacKZ! love ya loads gal!) anyway, during campfire, group 1's performance was seriously bad. haha our stomp was like super super terrible man..totally no sense of rhythm..lol
aft campfire, we had to go through nite PT. oh my god. i will nvr forget tt nite for as long as i live. we had to do so many physical stuff like pushups,situps while carrying a 90kg log wif 7 other gals,stomach crunches,twinkles,star jumps,hanging on the monkey bars,running 2.4km..many casualties tt nite..hmm i broke down during the 2.4km run cos i was seriously seriously tired on top of my aching knee.
thank you to all u guys who supported me and cheered me on during tt time.it really really helped me get through it more easily..i was really very touched by their show of care and concern..(:
aft nite PT, we aso had mass dance test and at 3am,we were finally allowed to go to slp..however,that was not the end!! aft going to slp for awhile, i was woken up by jiayi..it turns out tt all of us had to go for nite walk..wah at that moment, i was seriously damn damn tired tt i couldnt think straight at all man..af tt, went back to slp on the steps of the sports complex..
finally, aft seeming like eternity, the last day arrived. we woke up early in the morning and ran to ecp. over there, we finally had some fun! (: seniors and juniors both went into the water and played fun games like tug-of-war and captain's ball..lol i believe tt was the time whereby all the elects really enjoyed themselves(:
before we broke camp at around 5..we had to do some reflections. it was really an emotional moment filled wif tears...many said their thanks to the seniors and affirmed each other for supporting them during those times when they felt like giving up..hmm even though this camp was the toughest one i've ever experienced,im glad i went through it wif all the other elects. it really brought us closer together. its true, adversities really bond ppl together..hopefully when the 30th student council elects are invested into sc next mth, we will work well together for the next 1.5 yrs and share moments of joy and go through periods of difficulty together (:
lastly,wld like to thank our seniors of the 29th students council for giving us support throughout the entire camp. on top of cheering us on constantly, they also suffered together wif us by doing PT wif us too. i think that was really admirable..thank u!!!(:
