today is the start of TJC's sports carnival 2007!! (: the ceremony started off with the 4 new captains dressed up as superheroes i.e Neo from Matrix, captain Jack sparrow! , superman and chun lee! LOL following that was a rap performance and beta was represented by arief and guoping..haha gp is seriously talented in this..his rap was SO FARNIE. great job dude! :P
for this yr, sports carnival will last for 2 days, with thursday being the day for inter-pdp games. initially, i didnt sign up to participate but LUCKILY, pz pulled out and asked me to replace her cos it was SO SO MUCH FUN! (:
we started off with a game of floorball where we won the very first round!!!:P (haha but that was actually becos the other team din come so it was a walkover) so anyway, we got into the 2nd round and played against calligraphy club. hahaha i realised tt im quite rough when playing sports..i actually WHACKED really hard at 1 point and the opponent's stick broke! LOL ok anyway we won that match too!! aft that we played against cricket. it was inevitable that they were going to win but we put up a good fight!!! kudos to jessica for defending our goal SO SUPER SUPER WELL and only letting in a ball at the last 5 secs! so anyway the last match was against photography club and we were fighting for 2nd place. we were doing rather well but halfway through this guy whacked the ball and it flew to my face and hit my brow bone!!! ): was super pain and tears just flowed down immediately,now there's this blue-black there and a red cut. HOPEFULLY IT DOESNT LEAVE A SCAR!!
anyway aft that it was TUG-of-WAR for us! hahaha this is my FAVOURITE PART of the day. since Team 2 of SC mananged to clinch tops for this game in their group, they decided to impart their secret skills to us! hahaha so anyway, we managed to win choir, cricket, first-aid and dunno eclub or leo club! lol so we CAME OUT CHAMPS TOO!!!! woohoo! we were super duper happy and excited cos for many of us, its the FIRST TIME we got FIRST in something,esp. a sporting event!!! wahaha ain't the 30th SC totally AWESOME?? haha i know we are. :):):):)
ok aft that was dodgeball and stupidly i bathed before that -_- but since waikit insisted that i would do well for dodgeball since i can SIAM so fast, i decided to take part. haha and although i din win, im proud to be the last person standing for our team!!! :)
so anyway, this kinda sums up the first day of Sports Carnival 2007. although the sun was freaking bright and hot today, it didnt stop us from enjoying ourselves thoroughly! hopefully Day 2 of sports carn will be equally fun too! :P

its the day of may's 18th bday party @ kallang macs!! :) being absolutely nice to her, i followed her exact theme and wore yellow,red and white AND turned up by 445pm UNLIKE SOME PEOPLE..(right,aprie? LOL)
anyway,it was so embarrassing! we waited for close to 30min for the crew to clear the party room but turns out they were already done and just didnt know may was the birthday girl.HAHA
ok so around 5+ everyone turned up and we started off with a round of good o'l fashioned MUSICAL CHAIRS!! haha so farnie we were so enthu about it and EVEN jingxian ok. at first still say he die also wont play but he ended up as 1 of the final 3 contenders! haha yup with APRIE and ME! being the final 2 also.naturally.fiona says its becos of our scream that scares everyone away but we know we're just pro. anyway anyway the musical chairs champion was eventually decided with a game of scissors paper stone and I WON! lol ok so you guys are now looking at a musical queen yeah! :P

so the food came and we all sat down like little kids on the cute little stools and started eating. only aprie looked totally comfy lah..she's totally in her elements here so we cant blame her.:D
am glad may liked our presents and hopefully she enjoys the muffins i baked her which took me THREE TRIES! haha

may's bday present from us which contains a pink flower,a furry pink crown,a fairy wand and a pair of fairy wings!! SO MAY isnt it? :P
so anyway after the party i went down to tm to meet wenyuan for our much anticipated movie-SPIDERMAN 3!!! shant bore those who have watched it by going into another LONG and EMOTIONAL description of the show and wat i liked about it as i did during a conversation in msn wif jx lol. but the conclusion is-I LOVED THE SHOW TO PIECES!!! its really the best spiderman out of the 3. not that i din like the previous two of course..
hmm think wat i like so much about spiderman is that ur always left with food for thought after the show. as we all know that famous quote "with great power comes great responsiblility" haha yes i know. totally overused in gp essays and IM GUILTY of that. but this time, its more on the choices we take in life and how EVERYONE HAS A CHOICE so there's really no excuse. on top of that, there's the romantic love/friendship love & family love in the show which is really wat tugs at my heart strings..add all that to an action-packed plot with realli cool science stuff like that black chemical stuff..if ur into those kinda thing.haha yep and oh the very first appearance by SANDMAN was done beautifully!
I LUUUURRRRVVVVEEEEE IT.ABSOLUTELY.
oh and of course not forgetting another major reason why SPIDERMAN 3 is a must-watch:
the ever so cute harry osbourne and his soulful eyes!! :P TEEHEEHEE.
ok so the conclusion? HURRY AND WATCH SPIDERMAN 3 IF YOU HAVEN'T CAUGHT IT!! GOGOGO!
