its cny once again!
unlike previous years, i actually kinda like cny this year..other than the fact that for the 1st time during cny, it actually rained (: frankly speaking, my bro and i arent really that close to my cousins, hence visiting relatives every yr at this time become smth really boring and dull for us and we are usually done with visiting in the afternoon of chu 1. but this yr, although it was more or less the same, i actually felt more of that family bond,which is wat cny is all about..
bro and i used to hate cny cos my parents nvr fail to quarrel esp. during this period..however this yr its surprisingly peaceful. not only that, for the 1st time in my 18 years, we actually went to watch a movie together as a family (: though it may sound like a totally uneventful and simple thing, we just nvr bothered to do that. oh and lately, gg out for meals as a family becomes more frequent. another thing, this cny i actually had home cooked meal twice! lol some of you may go like "huh..wats so special about that.." but for me it is lah. cos usually my bro stays at the hostel and my parents arent home so early, so i usually eat takeaway food..
on the whole, think this cny is a great one. actually felt the importance of family togetherness for the 1st time and how warm that feels..(:
